Can you communicate easily with others?
This page is about improving how you communicate (talk and listen) with others, even if their culture or
background is different to yours, which as you can imagine, is a very important skill.
Do you like taking part in group talks? Can you communicate your ideas well? Do
you listen to other peoples ideas?
To show how good you are at the levels below, you have to show that you can:
- Take part in talks about simple subjects.
- Read and write or talk about the main ideas from books, letters and printed sheets about simple subjects.
- Write about simple subjects.
- Help your classmates to talk about other topics.
- Give a short talk using an image (picture) to help explain main points.
- Read and talk or write about the main information from a large amount of writing.
- Use a suitable form and style when writing bigger pieces of work.
- Ask others to join in with group talks about difficult subjects.
- Make a presentation using different ways to show your classmates information.
- Read and make your own information from very large pieces of work about difficult subjects.
- Show information clearly, selecting a
form and style of writing
suitable to difficult subjects.
