Intergenerational

SEN-NET, funded by the EU Tempus programme, was developed to create a network of senior citizens (sAGEs) throughout Europe. The main participants were in the Czech Republic,  England, Ireland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain and Sweden.

As an extension of this project we are planning to extend intergenerational learning through the development of story telling by sAGEs. Our pilot project is this WordPress autobiography From Suet to Soufflé by Joyce Horlock who is 87 years old.

Here is a website under continual development showcasing the work of young people in a school enrichment activity. They interviewed older members of the community about their experiences and as well as on the site have produced a physical book of their findings due for publication at the end of August 2017.
